Nearby Windsor and its famous castle is the market town of Maidenhead.
Maidenheads most prominent feature is its bridge over the Thames constructed in 1777, and its clock tower near the train station.
The town also has some grizzly history. At an Inn in 1649 befour being executed, king Charles the 1st last saw his children, the inn is now used as a bank.
Today Maidenhead is seeing massive redevelopment within the town centre. The new developments include pedestrian zones, homes and leisure facilities. Maidenheads location on the Great western railway, M4 and Heathrow airport makes it a very popular town to live.
The SL6, SL7 and SL8 postcodes covering Maidenhead, Bourne End and Marlow are just three of the local areas we serve. Click on the links above to see just a few more of our locations.
