Archway has used your skills many times over the last 3 years, you helped us by fitting locks, a security alarm, security rollers and securing all of my downstairs windows with bars.

My biggest challenge for you came last year when we found that the outside of our office was being used as a playground for teenagers who broke a window and trashed the outside of the building. They were quite a few who thought it fun to collect and hassle people working late and it was a really worrying for everyone.

You came up with a unique solution, which was a mosquito system that when it was turned on let out a high pitch noise that only the under 25s can hear, it meant that the local youths found it painful and stopped congregating around the office area.

I am pleased to say this is no longer an issue and the litter and damage has stopped almost completely.

Having decided I needed to improve the security of my home & office, you surveyed the property & recommended an upgraded alarm system that extended into my home office.

This could be set up with separate alarmed areas, thus enabling us to set & disable the alarm system from separate locations in the house, as well as adding the required additional security to the office.

You provided a prompt & detailed quotation & once we agreed on a suitable time for installation, your fitter arrived on time & worked efficiently, with the minimum of disruption, Once the system was installed & tested, he then ensured I was happy with the set up & how
to use it before he finished.

I now have more secure premises, including the office & of course am more than happy to recommend Abbeygate Locksmiths to my family, friends & colleagues for their future security needs

A problem with the front door to my block of flats was a security risk and possibly meant residents could not escape in an emergency.
This was sorted out very quickly and extra measures put in place to prevent the problem reoccuring.
When I asked if they could look at a separate issue with a banging door, they were more than happy to sort that out too!

I had a different locksmith come out a couple of days previously and did an awful job. The locksmith that came out to me from this company (Alex) was honest, told me his professional opinion, not once mislead me and was able to answer all of my questions. Great professional and knowledgable service from Abbey Gate. I was locked out of my old 1920’s drinks cabinet before Christmas (?!) when the old key broke. Within 24 hours Abbey had made two replica keys which worked brilliantly. Thanks for saving Christmas :)P

A new inner hall door lock was fitted twice by another company and failed not once but both times.. After hearing about fully accredited Master Locksmiths I found Abbey Gate online, read their credentials and decided to try once more to solve the problem no matter the cost.
Abbey Gate Locksmiths responded immediately and sent an engineer who not only explained and duly remedied the lock problem but who also, on the way out noticed my front door lock was also not locking correctly and instead of shooting off having achieved his call out, stayed on and fixed that problem too! And, – it was not an easy to solve either (UVPC door frame slippage).
Ben was totally professional, respectful, (wore a mask, swept up, cleaned the door frame) very affable and I felt very comfortable with him in my home. It must also be noted that he spoke very highly of his employers. The charge for all this was most reasonable to boot.
I am very happy today that I called the correct company as my life has now truly been made so much easier. I am not accustomed to writing reviews but I will be calling Abbey Gate again in the spring to install my security arrangements, etc..which itself speaks volumes about my confidence in them.

I asked Abbey Gate if they could come and fit a mortice lock. Ben came the same day. His work was excellent and quick, He was also friendly and professional. His manager Alex gave me an option to discuss my options via WhatsApp before the work, and prices were even discussed and agreed upon. This is going above and beyond as far as I am concerned, as most locksmiths I spoke to that day were happy to turn up, not even knowing which locks I wanted before attending the job.
