Internal security products

Road bollards

Road bollards are a fantastic tool in preventing unwanted guests from entering your property or parking where they should not.

Our bollards can ether be permanently fixed, removable or raised and lowered for daily use. (pictured right).

Abbey Gate can also custom make bollards at our purpose built workshop in Reading, Berkshire. Alongside this we are also able to supply keys to existing bollards.

Anti climb paint, Barb wire and Razor wire

Another product in our arsenal against thieves and trespassers is anti climb paint. When touched the paint will stick and stain black, to both the clothes and hands of whoever tries to climb.

The paint is non toxic so does not leave the climber with ether short or long term illness. We also supply the relevant warning signage.

Barb wire and razor wire is an ideal, proven product for preventing thieves and trespassers from entering private areas. We use a range of techniques to achieve the best results and coverage depending on the area required.

Plastic fence spikes

Plastic fence spikes are a fantastic way of helping deter intruders without causing permanent injury. The spikes are fixed to any fence (including metal).

Should an intruder touch them the discomfort caused is enough to change their decision. The spikes come in a range of colours. The spikes are a popular choice for home owners who do not want to install heavy duty Barb wire.

Door reinforcement

Abbey Gate use steel sheeting to reinforce doors. Our steel sheets cover the entire door. we also alow the sheet to overlap the edge of the door so the locking bolt is also covered.

The sheet is bolted through the door. with bolts designed so they cannot be removed from the outside.

Our sheeting is used alongside other products such as locks hinge bolts to secure the door.

Roller shutters

External roller shutters are commonly used to secure large entrances to warehouses designed to allow access for lorries. They are often also used over large windows and door entrances to shops.

Commonly Roller shutters are powered with a manual override should power be lost.

Manual shutters are secured using a padlock and hasp and staple fixed to the bottom of the shutter.

High security Steel fencing

Abbey Gate supply and installs high security durable steel fencing products. The products we instal are ideal for schools and industrial units.

Once fitted we can upgrade the fencing for additional protection, this can include spikes, barb wire or additional locks.

Please note with the exception of locks additional security will ONLY be installed on the highest panels available (2.4m) and if there is no danger to the general public.
