Newbury is situated on the A4 in the West Berkshire downs and sits on the bank of the Kennet and Avon canal. This small market town served as an important trading post for local products during the canals heyday. Other notable locations nearby include the Newbury racecourse, Donnington Castle and the former US air base at Greenham Common. Abbeygate also have loyal customers in the towns of Hungerford, Thatcham and Aldermaston. In between Newbury and Reading are the villages of Pangbourne, Goring and Streatley.
The villages sit on the bank of the Thames and are popular with walkers and visitors to Beale wild life park. The areas of Tadley, Bradfield and Burghfield are also regularly visited by our engineers. Both Aldermaston and Burghfield are well known for the installations dedicated to the defence of the United Kingdom. More information about additional services in the Burghfield area can be found below.
