Lock changes

Lock changes for landlords are commonly done during a repossession or after a tenant’s lease has come to an end. Once the former tenant has left the locks can be changed ready for new occupants. On Occasions lock changes can be done during a residence tenancy for a variety of reasons.

It is important to remember that landlords have legal responsibilities when removing tenants from any property. Tenants also have legal rights when being evicted. Boarding up

Master Key Systems

Some customers with multiple buildings or sites ask to have their locks on Master Key Systems. This is where different locks are produced to operate on a selection of keys.

An example of a Master Key System could be found in a block of flats. A residence key would operate their apartment front door and communal entrance door. Meanwhile management and staff can be issued keys that work multiple doors, for example residence, communal and service doors. The system can work on separate or multiple buildings. By having the system on a restricted suite, the customer can also have control who can cut keys.

The advantage is that it allows agents/management to enter rooms quickly during emergencies or lock changes. Sometimes it is also useful to use an Access control system alongside a Master Key System to provide greater security.
